Allow users to browse multiple directories in Win 7 (Windows Explorer)
I have an embedded device running Win 7. It has an interface that allows the user to input a url and choose a directory.
It then downloads content from that url into a local directory, then fires up a web-browser to display that content.
I have added as many directories as I can think of to the default search path, but this causes a long list of multiple content types (image, doc, mp3, etc) to be downloaded.
It would be much simpler to just have the user select a single directory (i.e. $HOME), but this doesn't work for all users.
Is there a way to get this to work for every user?

In Windows 7 they have changed the API's a bit with the new 'explorer libraries' and'shell extensions' (that replaces the old shell32 and shell32ext dll's).
That means you have to get the latest 'explorer libraries' and use the'shell extensions' for webpages.
